So you may want to start out by very gently touching your kid's hand or you could very lightly put your hand on your autistic kid's shoulder. And if you would like to give your kids a hug you'll need to do so very gently by gradually bringing yourself into the position where you will be able to hug your child.
Just remember that everything must be very gentle and you must take your time while you are building up to embracing a kid with autism. If you immediately try and give them a good big hug you may expect your little one to react very negatively and this will be a really disturbing situation in an autistic kid's life. It may not work properly at first but if you keep doing and you notice what your kids is comfortable with then you should be able to give your child a hug whenever you want.
